Regular customer visits are essential to staying closely connected to your needs and challenges. Building long-term relationships and gaining a thorough understanding of your business are central to my approach. With over ten years of experience in the vegetable seed industry, I have worked closely with customers in a wide range of markets. Extensive travel throughout Eastern Europe and Africa has given me a strong understanding of diverse growing conditions, market dynamics, and customer requirements. I am committed to reliable support, clear communication, and practical, solution-oriented advice. Looking forward to work together and support your business.

Rein van Dam

Customer care & Sales
Shifting gears from January 1st 2023, I will be responsible for your orders as back-office representative. Following up on your inquiries and purchase orders I will be in contact with you to see where we can meet your needs. Previous I have been responsible for all the logistics of your shipments. Arranging the best available air- and sea shipments at reasonable costs. With this knowledge I will continue giving you the best service we can offer together.

I worked as an auctioneer at Royal FloraHolland but made the switch to UFO-Supplies, where the family feeling reigns supreme. Here I will deal with the preservative Florissant with the aim of expanding this brand and convincing the horticultural sector that Florissant is the best care for your flower, from harvest to vase.

Finance administration
I have been working for UFO Supplies for more than 18 years and deal with the financial administration. We have continued to innovate and professionalize. Now we work with AFAS software, which is great because I have more time left for my grandchildren. Win-win for both.

Communication / Marketing
Being responsible for communication I always try to be clear. By using the right visual material, I want to give detailed information. I take care of  all external communications and manage the website. More images less text is my motto.

Since the beginning of 2018 I make sure all deliveries end up in the correct quantity and country. Sometimes the paperwork is a big puzzle, but I like that.

At UFO Supplies, my background in warehouses and at the flower auction in Aalsmeer, come together. UFO Supplies gave me an instant good feeling when I started working here and I look forward to developing myself and the company in the years to come.

Rianne has a special role within our organization. She is responsible for the HR part within UFO Supplies. With her years of experience, she knows like no other how to commit the right people, so that UFO Supplies can realize its ambitions and move forward.

I love resolving problems and working on improvements with our customers. I have been involved in flower growing in Africa since 1983 with summer flowers as my favourites. As a grower I experienced the drawback of not having the right equipment and varieties and saw the opportunity to start my own business and UFO was founded in 1988, UFO Supplies followed in 1996 as the trading company for the hardware we believe is best choice. We will never be short of challenges in this industry and will never stop learning so never get bored. Together we must now make this business sustainable and future proof which offers new opportunities with great new technology which I find very exciting.
